INTERNATIONAL MEDIA EVENT MANAGEMENT 

I have supported and solely managed events across the globe from Media drives in the Highlands of Scotland, International Media Launches in South Africa, Austria and Switzerland to pure lifestyle press trips on Sardinia's Costa Smerelda. 

A notable highlight was the recreation of the 1913 Alpine Trial. In effect we created a moving launch, flying world-class journalists individual legs of perhaps one of the most complex and elaborate Rally's ever conceived. The notion of sleep and substance soon left us as we plotted the mountain passes of Europe accompanied by nearly 100 priceless cars dating back to 1906.

 

Working with a small internal team, we pulled off record levels of global media coverage in doing so re-establishing the legend of the 'Best Car in the World'. The campaign also saw notable brand firsts including the launch of new dedicated social media channels and a daily blog from the road that fed media coverage from those not able to attend. 

In total the Rally took in 5 countries, 1,800 miles and was enjoyed by over 50 high-caliber lifestyle, auto and travel journalists who still remark to this day on an experience unlikely to ever be repeated.
